This is a great plow! I would like you to fix the solenoid that sticks sometimes (this is the second plow that has done this) Dealer and other people tell us this is normal. So we just live with it. Not a deal breaker.

The powder coat quality could be better on the steel parts. Already noticed a lot of flaking by welds. Other than that been pretty good plow. Love the downforce

The plow it self works well the headlight assemblies I had a problem with this last fall when I went to adjust the headlights one of them the threaded insert spun loose in the plastic light housing because the bolt was rusted in the insert and stripped out the threads in the housing before I realized. I was able to fix it by making a new threaded insert a little longer than the original and with a gel super glue I was able to glue it and grab a few threads that were left in the bottom of the hole. The plow only went though only one winter and I washed the whole plow very well before I put it away last season I also hose it off during the season to keep the salt off from it. Also is stored indoors in the summer months. This was very frustrating after the cost of the plow and only using it for one winter at that point! I put it back together with stainless hardware on both light assemblies. My opinion it should of had stainless hardware from the start.

Third Boss we've owned. Always had Fishers prior, but they do not compare to Boss quality and design. Ease of attachment and overall performance are top notch.

Overall works well, looks great! Originally had some issues with lights and blinkers. Had to bring back to the dealer to get that figured out. The headlights leave much to be desired. I actually turn them off and just use my truck lights, they are much brighter. As for value, these plows keep getting more and more expensive every year, and they do not seem to be changing or upgrading anything. It is frustrating how every year they seemingly go up in price $500-700 no questions asked.

For myself, I use an F350 6.7L PowerStroke to push this blade, and the blade does great, however it feels like there are times where I was losing my holding power for the wings pretty easily. This plow has helped me clear quite a bit of snow, and especially with the mess we got this year, it came in handy. I've found that when looked inside the pump chasis, wiring was an absolute spaghetti plate, it definitely could be better managed for such an expensive piece of equipment. There were minor issues I had, but overall, it worked when I needed it, in super cold, or in lots of snow, and that was what mattered.
