The BOSS HTX V plow's flared blade wings and enhanced curl design throw snow higher and farther than conventional straight-blade snowplows, delivering unmatched efficiency and control season after season. Engineered to protect both you and your equipment, the HTX V features a full moldboard trip system that absorbs the impact when obstacles are encountered. The full trip system allows the entire blade to trip forward, reducing stress on your plow and truck. I have to say if I were to buy another snow plow it wouldn't be a boss it's nothing like my older plow from hooking up to its slow in reaction to hydraulics sorry but I'm not impressed

My Boss plow has held up great. Really impressed on how well it handles snow and wear is minimal.

The functionality of the plow is superb, compared to a straight plow. The first storm/ usage this season were not good, as the hydraulic fittings were not tightened up correctly from the factory. Subsequent storms have proven that the unit is a useful tool, once the original issue was remedied at the dealer.

Why should a full size Silverado truck with 20 inch wheels need an extra $300 lift kit installed like I had to to provide enough clearance for your plow? Could use a design improvement.
