The product seems to work very well. Personally, the controller broke in the middle of it’s first storm. Took several weeks to get replacement parts.

You lose some salt in transport not as bad as other salters I have used It would be nice if it didn't start in blast every time you turn it on . If Boss offered a work light or 2 on their tail gate salters it would be nice I hate splicing into brand new wiring . Otherwise it perfect .

This spreader has been absolutely amazing for year for years! so good that I bought a second one. My only issue that i would love to see added, is a quick release door down near the bottom that will allow for easy dumping back into 5 gallon pales of if you need a little extra salt for a walkway or sidewalk. There has been times that I havent used all of the salt that is in the hopper and had to manually empty it, where as if there was a easy release door, I could have dumped it fast and more efficiently. Other than that, this thing has been a beast for me. Great work on this!
