I thought the four Power V I own were the best, then bought the new V-XT Poly's and fell in love with them. I have since bought five 9'2" Poly's and am going to buy anther next week. I also have a 10' Power V that moves a ton of snow but I recently bought a 9'2" V-XT and put wings on it and would run that against the 10' in any storm we get. I have ten V plows total, all Boss, one BX8 pusher for my skidsteer, a BX12 for my loader, and 2 Boss spreaders.

Yes -- I have changed my whole fleet over to BOSS and I love your product. The BX8 and the BX12 Box Plows blow any pusher in the market out of the water. I cannot believe how much these two boxes have become a game changer. They are worth the money hands down. I have tried other pushers and owned other pushers and this box scrapes just like a truck would, I couldn't believe it! I bought the BX8 first and after using it the first night, I called the next morning to buy the BX12. I also have (4) Power V Steel Blades and (6) 9'2" Poly V-XT Blades. It's a game changer how far the V-XT will throw the snow and I love that I don't have to paint them year after year. It really cuts down on the snow sticking to your blade. You can tell the newer V-XT technology makes all the difference in the world.

I've owned a Boss plow for three years now. I started out with an 8'6" straight blade, but soon realized I wanted to upgrade, so I bought an 8'2" Vee plow from Boss. The main thing that made me want to purchase a Boss, seeing so many of them on the road during snowstorms so i figured they were a good product. Well they exceeded my expectations The Boss snowplow is a great product, I would recommend this plow to a friend.

I've owned the steel Vee;s in the past, after 3-4 years they just don't look as good as the poly's, the poly's are great, long term looks and of course functional. We have seen some quality issues with the newer plows we've bought - mostly welds - disappointing if Boss is really trying to save a buck or two in the functional area. I have no need or desire for the V-XT, way too much mold board IMO driving up and down the highway like we do - I used one a few nights and see virtually no difference between a V-XT and a standard V even when windrowing long drifty private roads that we do. Please bring back the standard poly V................ and leave the gimicks to the wannabees.

Yes -- Bring back the standard poly vee.

We have (1) 8'2' and (2) 9'2" plows that all have wings on them and all I can say is wow! We used straight blades with wings for years and 2 years ago decided try them on our V's. Its amazing the amount of snow you can move with these plows. We will never go back to anything else.

Yes -- I make my living in the harshest conditions in north east Ohio, and I have tried every other plow on the market. The bottom line is, only Boss can handle what we put them through day in and day out year after year. Thank you. Andrew

I also own a poly and the same things are said for this type of plow. LOVE IT! Don't change a thing guys.

Yes -- There would be no hesitation on my part for buying another boss product. You guys have gone above and beyond what I would expect a plow manufacture to do. The best of everything is used for these plows.

We only run boss v plows. Great realiability easy to fix and work on, if there is something wrong, it is rare that something is wrong. In our mind, they just simply work and are productive versus other makes and straight blades. Adding Boss plows to our operation gives us one less thing to worry about when it snows.

Yes -- No other plow in our opinions.

I have 3 9'2"'s and a 10'. Boss plows are the best plows out there, I wouldnt trust another brand if you GAVE it to me. I perform regular maintence on them every year and they treat me well. One 9'2" I own has had over 1,500 plowing miles put on it just this past winter and it still looks and performs like new. Thanks for the tough products you people build.

The Boss V blades are awesome. Work great, never let me down, hook/unhook from the truck quickly and easily. Very good plow in my opinion. I'm trying to switch everything over to Boss V's because of their reliability.

Yes -- I would buy another Boss for 2 reasons. 1st being that I have a great local dealer in Berts Truck Equipment, and 2nd being that I've never had a problem at all with any Boss plow.

No -- You guys screwed me on my warranty claim on a set of new wing extenders this year. The small cotter pin that runs thru the main pin that locks the top of the wing to the bracket broke off causing the little spring to back out which let the main locking pin come out allowing the wing extender to move forward resulting the steel frame of the wing to bend and crack. The wing extender no longer lines up to get the locking pin thru the plowside bracket or the wing bracket. You guys told the dealer that it was my fault and cried "abuse" on the plow operator. I argued with my dealer, Crysteel In Fridley Mn: Wes Brunk, and told him bull shit it was the cheap ass cotter pin that broke, the other side is showing the exact same thing - and he says that his hands are tied. After plowing with the new wing extenders less then a dozen times I now have a set of $850 paper weights that sit around in my shop taking up space. I've been a loyal & Exclusively Boss only user since 2004 but after this bull shit it's time for me to find better dealer and MFG support. For this I will more then likely switch my fleet over to Douglas Dynamics & buy a Western MVP or Wide outs for 2011-2012.

Same issues. Headlights and blinker lens replacement.

Yes -- I restore equipment and I do maybe 100 plows a year including western, boss and fisher. Boss has the best steel, the quickest and easyest mounting system. Boss has got to be the fastest plow out there that I have seen and I've owned them all. Any time a customer asks which plow is the best its always Boss. The price may be more but you get what you pay for with snow equipment.

Poly plows are not rugged enough but are great at keeping snow off the plow.

Yes -- I buy boss because of the performance in hydraulics, attachment ease, your joystick (would be hard to part with), and my dealer is 1 miles away. I would really like to have trip edge v plows so if this ever lacks my loyalty to boss and my dealer might lack.

Have the Boss Poly V since 2000 on a 2000 Ford F-350 diesel with the Boss tailgate spreader and I love the plow with very little problems over it's ten year span. Only thing I'd like to see if possible is a Boss V plow with the trip edge. I think that will save a lot of spent wings. My next snow plow will still be a BOSS. I like that I can use my v plow on the same truck as my straight blade but I do not like the spring return and I think all boss v plows should come standard with locking cyl. I also feel that boss needs to come out with a trip edge v-blade.

love the plow but there are alot of little bugs that lower the rating. ie: poly expensive to replace after putting log through it. pins that snap and fall out. very expensive deflecter that rips and falls off. needs better electrical plugs that do not corrode and lastly SPRINGS THAT DO NOT BREAK IN THE SAME SPOT EVERYTIME

Yes -- yes because there is no other plow that will some what take the abuse i give my plow. BUT prices are getting rediculess. plows have doubled in price since my first one
