Currently we are seeking dedicated and creative CAD Designers to join our Systems Control team.

Responsibilities:

  • Draw/Design in CAD (Pro/E, AutoCAD & MicroStation)
  • Make Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
  • Create stick sets (contains the latest revision of all drawings for each project)
  • Print and fold drawings & create Production Document Release (PDR)
  • Field work: measure panels in the substation for replacement
  • Review accuracy of drawings (compare bill of materials to layout drawings to wiring diagrams)
  • Create layout drawings, weldments, assemblies, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Associates Degree in CAD or 5 years related work experience with parametric-based modeling systems
  • One year of fabrication/manufacturing experience preferred
  • Proficient using solid modeling software (Pro/E Preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain n-tier applications written in Microsoft .NET (ASP.NET, WCF, WPF) and Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL)
  • Convert legacy applications to Microsoft .NET
  • Complete simple system analysis and design specifications
  • Communicate with business analysts to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications
  • Work collaboratively with team members and internal customers

Requirements of the ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in software development, or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 1 year in software development, preferably in a business setting
  • Knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 – 4.5 (C#, ASP.NET)
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript (jQuery)
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic 6 a plus
  • Experience using T-SQL with an ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Understanding of object oriented design, client-server architecture and relational database design
  • Experience using Team Foundation Server for source control and build management a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
